James 1:27 – Pure and unde!led religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. On 25th March 2019, our Founder was deeply moved by a strong sense of purpose to make a meaningful difference in the lives of widows.

She shared this heartfelt idea with her fellow Sunday School Teachers, and each of them generously contributed whatever they could to plant the seed of kindness. Together, we identi!ed two deserving widows and decided to split the money between them.

On the day we delivered this gift, while there were numerous reasons to be grateful, none could compare to the overwhelming emotion we experienced when we met one of the widows. Her gratitude was so profound that it brought tears to her eyes, and she repeatedly inquired about who had sent us.

Amid her tears, she shared her story, explaining that we were the answer to her prayers in a time of desperate need. This widow had been left to face life’s challenges alone after her husband’s passing, and her own family had abandoned her.

The support we offered was a ray of hope in her difficult journey, and it was a reminder of the profound impact that small acts of kindness can have on someone’s life
