The Chayil Healthcare

The foundation’s Widows Healthcare program acknowledges the unique healthcare needs of widows. It conducts in-depth needs assessments to identify specific requirements and collaborates with healthcare providers to offer targeted medical camps and health education programs.

Furthermore, the program provides essential medication support and establishes a robust referral network for specialised care. By exploring options for health insurance coverage, the program ensures that widows have consistent access to quality healthcare services.

Legal Aid

The Widows Legal Aid program is dedicated to safeguarding the rights of widows. Through the establishment of legal clinics, workshops, and rights awareness campaigns, the foundation empowers widows with knowledge about their legal entitlements.

The provision of legal representation helps them navigate complex legal matters independently.

Supplementary services, such as counselling and vocational training, equip widows with the skills necessary for their holistic empowerment.

Vocational and Skills Development

The Vocational and Skills Development program recognizes the importance of economic independence. By conducting personalised needs assessments, the foundation tailors vocational training courses to match market demands and the interests of widows.

Life skills workshops, mentorship programs, and entrepreneurship training enable widows to enhance their employability, financial independence, and overall well being

Micro Financial Services Scheme

The Micro Financial Services Scheme, known as “Financial Freedom for Widows,” is a comprehensive initiative that combines access to financial services with capacity[1]building support. Through microcredit and savings facilities, widows gain the financial means to start businesses and secure stability for themselves and their families.

Entrepreneurship and vocational skills training are provided alongside social support through peer groups and mentorship. This scheme opens doors to market opportunities, enabling widows to thrive economically

Where We Work

We have supported about 5,000 widows

Distance doesn’t diminish our love.

Chayil Foundation’s unwavering dedication has touched the lives of 5,000 widows and children, providing them with essential support, guidance, and hope, ensuring that they never walk alone on their journey towards a brighter future.

Our commitment to their well-being continues to shine as a beacon of compassion.

"Strength is measured not by how we wield power, but by how we protect the vulnerable – the widows and children who rely on our compassion and care."
