The Chayil Foundation is a private, voluntary, non-profit, faith-based, non-governmental organisation focused on providing support, care, and empowering widows, single mothers, and orphans to create wealth so they can live productive and dignified lives.
We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of Widows.
The CHAYIL FOUNDATION is a dedicated NGO committed to
addressing the challenges faced by widows in the developing world, where they often encounter violations of their rights. By focusing on disinheritance, discrimination, and harmful practices, including sexual violence and degrading rites, the foundation seeks to empower widows and
create a more equitable society.
Operating primarily in Ghana, the foundation’s core areas of work include Widows Healthcare, Legal Aid, Vocational and Skills Development, and the Micro Financial Services Scheme.
